Nurse Practitioner
About
Ha "Kim" Nguyen, NP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner at SpotDoc The Villages, focused on skin cancer detection, prevention, and patient education. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Kim worked in the operating room at a Level I Trauma Center, caring for patients through complex surgical procedures alongside multidisciplinary surgical teams — experience that sharpened her clinical judgment, precision, and commitment to care in high-acuity settings.
Since SpotDoc opened in The Villages, Kim has trained closely with Dr. Tyler Long in dermatologic evaluation, skin cancer detection, and total-body imaging, refining her eye for concerning skin lesions and her ability to help guide timely, appropriate care.
Passionate about early detection, Kim values building long-term relationships with patients and believes trust, continuity, and education are at the heart of good care. Warm and approachable, she enjoys getting to know the people she sees and helping them feel comfortable and confident. Outside the clinic, she loves traveling, discovering new restaurants, hiking, and exploring art and design.
